A well-respected group of publicans approached us for venue and branding advice for their bar on a bustling eat street in Newcastle. Despite its prime location, the venue was struggling to attract the same level of popularity as neighbouring establishments. Intuition, backed by thorough research, indicated that a fresh start was necessary. With our clients’ full support, we embarked on a new strategy that led us to craft a compelling brand story.
We blended the area’s heritage with the creativity of local artists to give the bar its authentic roots. The result was a standout brand, adorned with striking murals, an engaging website, and a captivating philosophy that set the bar as a benchmark for small bars in Newcastle.
The launch of the reimagined brand and venue proved to be a resounding success. 5 Sawyers has been established for 8 years and now operates near capacity on weekends, experiencing a remarkable 180% increase in trade compared to its previous iteration, solidifying its place as a beloved destination on the lively eat street.
